Discover a typical day in the life of Marie Antoinette; you’ll quickly understand why she hated the palace so much! Her opulent lifestyle here would ultimately lead to her tragic demise under the French Revolution; she left Versailles in 1789 never to return.
After visiting the royal apartments inside the palace, your guide will lead you through the spectacular gardens, once the setting of balls, parties and elaborate firework displays. On fountain show days you will discover the amazing waterworks, still running today as they did in the times of Kings and Queens.

Due to ongoing restoration works in the Palace, some rooms may not be available to see. Should this be the case, our guides will replace these rooms so your experience is complete.
The Courtiers Menu is a 3-course meal including beverages (one glass of red or white wine, mineral water and coffee).
This menu is composed according to the seasons and changes in order to offer you a different experience each time you visit.
Should you have any specific dietary requirements (vegetarian, lactose free, gluten free, etc.), pleas add the information on booking. In order to be able to meet all your specific needs, particularlyy in case of allergies or a vegan diet, the restaurant will need this information 7 days prior to your tour.
*NOTE. The minimum drinking age in France is 18 years old. Participants under 18 will be served non-alcoholic beverages.
Infants aged 0-3 who are free of charge on this visit, a meal will not be provided for them at the restaurant. If you wish to purchase any food for your infant you may do so on the spot.

Operating days and start time from Paris:
For your comfort, the tour starts in central Paris where you will meet our representative who will escort you by train ( RER C) to the Palace. The journey takes about 25 minutes.
Meet us 15 minutes prior to the starting time of the tour at the metro entrance/exit for Javel André Citroen, opposite the Café Regalia, 1 rue de la Convention, 75015 Paris
Directions: Meet your guide outside the entrance/exit to Javel André Citroen metro station (line 10).
There are 2 metro exits, please take the one which has stairs. At street level you will exit opposite the café Regalia. Your guide will be waiting for you just by the metro exit.
